Maine Books - Maine Maps
In addition to the offerings below, note that the Maine Department of Transportation has some online maps. There is a mileage map, a turnpike map, a rail system map and Park-n-Ride maps. The DOT also offers a road condition map and live traffic photos. By moving your curser over a road icon, the system will tell you whether the pavement is dry, wet or otherwise hazardous. For live photos, click on the camera icon. Road condition info also can be obtained by telephone: In-state dial 511.
Also, the Maine Geographic Information System (MEGIS) has interactive online maps of Maine including aerial photography, base maps and more. On the same link, MEGIS also offers wall-sized Maine maps that can be ordered by email.
