We have many active gemstone quarries, and we're nicknamed "The Gemstone Capitol of Maine." We're also the hub of New England's Manufactured Housing industry, with 4 manufacturers and many retail outlets. We have excellent healthcare and educational systems, including a comprehensive high school, private prep schools and academies, the Western Maine University Center and adult education programs. Our history is rich and varied. Great cultural network with many local artists, artisans, museums and cooperatives. Our Chamber serves eight towns in Maine's Western Foothills including: Oxford, Paris, West Paris, Otisfield, Norway, Hebron, Harrison and Waterford. Come spend some time with us!
