Fort Fairfield Chamber of CommerceFort Fairfield Chamber of Commerce

Fort Fairfield, the hub of Aroostook County, is centrally located and within close proximity to all Maine activities.  It is the second oldest community in Aroostook County being created in 1839 and incorporated in 1858.  It is home to great people, growing business, superior education, and new opportunities.  The town also is host to the Maine Potato Blossom Festival, a 57-year tradition of celebrating potatoes and Aroostook County traditions, and the County Bluegrass Festival.  Both festivals are held in July and both are family oriented events with lots of fun filled activities for people of all ages.

Fort Kent Chamber of CommerceFort Kent Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Fort Kent Area presents a quiet rural setting that holds a population of about 5,000 residents; and with that, defines the word beautiful.  Settled in 1829 by the French Acadians, the Valley has grown in population, beauty and with continuous things to do.  Go canoeing down the St. John River, camping at the Deboullie Mountain and watch the excitement of the sled dog races take off.  The Greater Fort Kent Area also offers the largest snowmobile trail network in the United States with close proximity to Canada.  The picturesque St. John Valley is the proud home of the Maine Winter Sports Center, a world-class biathlon competition and training facility.
