Submissions for the 2012 season are open! Last year we saw over 2000 people come out to the art walk and total purchases were over $6000 in local art. Once every month, from May through September, we will turn the downtowns of Lewiston and Auburn into impressive arts districts. Comprised of various cycling distances (10, 25, 50, 70 and 100 miles), and a 5K (3.1 mile) and 10K (6.2 mile) run/walk, participants 18 and over are required to raise $150 (and encouraged to raise even more!) as they prepare for The Dempsey Challenge. The event is Saturday, October 13 (5K and 10K run/walk) and Sunday, October 14 (cycling events) at Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston, Maine.
