Jun 21 thru Aug 30, 2012. 7th annual Downtown Bangor Outdoor Market now extended through August. The market, located along Broad Street and in West Market Square, will be held Thursdays June 21 through August 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Up to 50 vendors are expected weekly. Market items sold are handmade, prepared or raised by the vendor; emphasis is placed on Maine-made, specialty food items and produce. Available items include artwork, baked goods, produce, specialty foods, handbags, jewelry, photography and much more. Food vendors are also on site. Interested in becoming a vendor? The Market is held in conjunction with the free Bangor Cool Sounds Concerts in Pickering Square each week from 6 p.m. to 7:30 pm. The Outdoor Markets & Concerts in 2012 are on June 21, June 28, July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9, August 16, August 23 and August 30.
