Mar 21, 2010. Studio Theatre of Bath announces an upcoming audition for community actors. An open audition will be held for actors to be considered for a role in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" on Sunday, March 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Chocolate Church Performing Arts Center. Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Please report to the annex. Actors should come prepared to sing an up-tempo song from the show or another contemporary production that shows off their voice and acting skills. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music. There will also be a dance audition. The director is looking for adults to play child spellers as well as two adult moderators, ranging from 18 to 30 years old. Studio Theatre is a financially secure, semi-professional theatre company that provides a technically superior and creative theatre experience.
