Jul 16 thru Jul 18, 2010. The Maine Celtic Celebration is committed to renewing the rich Celtic history, culture, and hospitality found along the coast of Maine. Planned events will take place along the waterfront in scenic Belfast and in various other places around the town and general area. Expect live Celtic music, storytelling, and dance; sporting events with Highland Games, a rugby scrum, gold tournament, and a 5k road race; contests such as a "Celtic Iron Chef," Men in Kilts, Cheese Roll, and a kilted run and row.
