Event is held rain or shine at the Blue Hill Fairgrounds Public Admission fee is $3/Adults, $1/Children under 12. Vehicle registration from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration fee is $5/Entry car, driver & 1 passenger. Show Cars are exhibited at owner's risk. Proceeds benefit the Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department. Sponsored in part by the Blue Hill Fair Association. Trophies and Prizes for 1st, 2nd 3rd & Best of Show. There is also a Swap Meet, 50/50 Drawing, raffle & food concessions. Jul 03, 2012. The 22nd annual Blue Hill Pops Concert will be held on Tuesday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the George Stevens Academy gymnasium on Union Street in Blue Hill. Presented by the Bagaduce Music Lending Library, this year's festival of "Sounds Around Blue Hill" will feature the celebrated jazz harpist, Liza Rey. Other 2012 Blue Hill Pops performers will include: Flash! In the Pans, one of the country's largest community steel bands; Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Maine, presenting segments of their "Musicale"; the New Trad Trio Dixieland ensemble; and the Bagaduce Pops Singers, under the direction of Bronwyn Kortge, singing a Stephen Sondheim medley.
