Apr 23 thru Apr 25, 2010. Fishermen's Festival activities begin Friday evening with the Miss Shrimp Pageant at BRHS auditorium. Saturday includes the famous Cod Fish Relay, lobster trap hauling, dory bailling, lobster crate running, tug of war, fish fry and more! Events during the two-day festival include pancake breakfast, craft fair, antique boat parade, shipyard tours, street parade, live musical entertainment and of course a visiting fleet of historic windjammers. Feb 27, 2010. The Boothbay Playhouse announces auditions for the summer of 2010. Casting all leads, supporting roles and chorus roles for all three of our summer shows. Saturday, February 27th, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boothbay Region YMCA's Coastal Club room.  Please bring a head shot and resume, and prepare one song that best showcases your ability.  An accompanist will be provided.  Shows this summer will be: "The Music Man" -Shows June 24 through July 10. "The 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"-Shows July 20 through July 31.
