Annual Bucksport's Abloom

Main Street
Bucksport, Maine 04416
Phone: (207) 469-6818

Jul 14, 2012. Bucksport Garden Club presents the 4th Annual Bucksport's Abloom on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Alamo Theatre on Main Street, this year featuring Lisa Colburn. Colburn is the author of The Maine Garden Journal. Most gardening books focus on the expertise of one person, but each gardener faces a different set of challenges and delights. This book is a compilation of the fascinating knowledge gathered from over one hundred folks throughout Maine who do their own ornamental gardening and really put their hands in the dirt. Not only is buying local and eating local increasingly recognized as important, but learning local applies when it comes to gardening. This book is social networking at its best. Lisa will show slides and discuss how the book came to be. Event #6497   Map + Directions   |   Report Update
