May 02, 2010. Barrage boasts a musical lineup almost as unconventional as the music they play. The group is comprised of a half dozen fiddle players backed by a rock band and blends jazz, classical and rock. The result is not quite classical and not exactly rock - imagine Led Zeppelin played by a pack of out-for-blood violins. Barrage is more than just a group that performs music while standing on stage. Their shows have been compared to such aggressively theatrical presentations as "Stomp" and "Riverdance," while being praised for their musical excellence.
