Jun 16, 2012. The 26th Annual Southern Maine Pride will be the week of June 10-17, 2011, with the Parade & Festival happening on Saturday, June 16. The Parade will start at 12:30 p.m. at Monument Square in Portland and kick off a host of pride events that will be happening around the city. The Parade will progress west on Congress Street, turn north on High Street and arrive at Deering Oaks Park at approximately 12:45 p.m. The Festival in Deering Oaks is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is a family-friendly event that includes live music, dance entertainment, comedians, arts & crafts vendors, food vendors and more.
