Description: CBS affiliate. WGME-TV is licensed to Portland, Maine. It broadcasts on VHF channel 13 and UHF channel 38. The station's transmitter, one of the tallest structures in Maine, is on Brown Hill west of Raymond, Maine. Transmitter coordinates are 43.5528N, -70.2926W. The analog broadcast for WMEA-TV is on UHF channel 26. The digital broadcasts are notationally at 26.1 (DT) and 26.2 (HDTV), but if you are using an antenna, they are technically broadcast on UHF channel 45 until February, 2009. Starting February, 2009, the analog broadcast at channel 26 will be replaced by the digital broadcasts.

The station will convert to a digital broadcast in January or February, 2009. For the time being, WPFO is available in High Definition (HD) via simulcast on Time Warner Cable channel 507 and on Adelphia Cable channel 704.
