Mar 17 thru Mar 24, 2012. Giselle, a story of love, betrayal, madness, revenge and forgiveness is the most famous and enduring of all romantic ballets. Giselle tells the story of a young peasant girl betrayed by the man she loves. She goes mad, dies and joins the Wilis (ghosts of maidens who have died of a broken heart). The Wilis rise each night and force any man who is found wandering in their forest to dance to his death. When Giselle's love appears in the forest, she must decide if she will save his life.
