Sep 10, 2011. Dan R. Michaud of Topsham, Maine, was a dedicated husband, father of four children, and only 32 years of age when he lost his long and painful battle with cancer. This ride, in it's 25th year, is simply one of the most beautiful 25, 50, or 100 mile rides in the Northeast. With chase vehicles, staffed rest stops every 10 to 15 miles, and a huge pre-ride "Carb-Up Dinner" you'll create memories, honor loved ones, and re-connect with a community of people who share your values. 25/50/100 mile treks. This event is a fully supported with food, drinks, sweep vehicles, mechanic, radio communications, and route coverage.
