<title>Sep 28 thru Mar 30 - Multiple Locations - 2012 Migratory Duck Stamp Contest</title>

<description>Entries for the 2012 Maine "duck stamp" contest must display one or more live waterfowl of the chosen species (below) prominently in the design. If background detail is included in the design it must be accurate and representative of the state of Maine. Designs will be judged on originality, artistic composition, anatomical accuracy and suitability for reproduction as a stamp. Subjects may include one or more of the following: Greater or Lesser Scaup, Ring-necked Duck, Common Goldeneye, Barrow's Goldeneye, or Buffledhead. Entries for the 2012 Maine Migratory Waterfowl Stamp Contest will be accepted from 9 a.m. March 1 through 4 p.m., March 30, 2012. All entries must be delivered to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's Augusta office or be received by the Department through the mail (or by U.P.S., FedEx, etc) before 4 p.m., March 30, 2012. Judging will take place before the annual Maine Sportsman's Show at the Augusta Civic Center and all designs will be displayed throughout the entire Show. <title>Mar 03 - Bangor - Frozen Marsh Experience - Penjajawoc Grasslands</title>

<description>Bangor Land Trust invites you to join us at the Penjajawoc Grasslands for an unforgettable excursion onto the frozen marsh.   As part of the Great Outdoors Weekend, Bangor Land Trust will show you how to experience the marsh in a way only possible during winter. We'll hike out across the wintry fields, venture onto the frozen bog, and make our way at last to a site known for beaver lodges and muskrat dens.  This is a great opportunity for photography buffs, so pack your camera! Hiking poles and weather-suitable footwear are recommended - your choice of skis, snowshoes, ice grippers depending on our snow conditions.  Hike Leaders: Shirley Ellis and Karla Gustafson.  Directions: Drive to the end of Fox Hollow Road (off outer Essex)  and park in the cul-de-sac by the BLT kiosk.</description>
