Jun 30 thru Jul 28, 2009. On Tuesdays from June 30 through July 28, the Saco River Festival Association runs the Bandstand Summer Concert Series at the Cornish Fairgrounds. The programs are accessible to the public and on a "donations" basis. Event is sponsored by local businesses and the proceeds help fund music programs that we provide in the MSAD #55 schools, including sending 4th graders to Merrill Hall to the symphony, bringing in the P.S.O. Kinderconcerts, sponsoring Tri-M, the music honor society, and providing artists and musicians for the S.T.A.R. summer program. These concerts are a fun, inexpensive way for families to enjoy an evening in our beautiful town.
