Learn commonly used terminology, such as ADLs, CCRC's, NF, MaineCare, Private Pay, AL's, and more. Next we will discuss the 10 distinct senior care facilities and services: Home Care, Home Health Care, Adult Day Programs, Retirement/Independent/Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, Skilled Care, Alzheimer's Care, and Hospice. For each of these, we will define the type of community, talking through the advantages and disadvantages. We will explore the services provided, costs to be expected, the activity programs and the limitations of each option.
