Floorcloth Workshop - Shaker Village

May 24, 2008. New Gloucester. The United Society of Shakers presents a floorcloth workshop. Come and make a 2' x 3' floorcloth, a traditional floor covering of the 19th century. Betsy Grecoe will show you how to construct a sturdy floorcloth using canvas, acrylic paint and polyurethane. Traditional, contemporary or your own design. Pre-registration and $50 fee required. Criterion Theatre and Arts Center Fundraising Dinner

May 31, 2008. Bar Harbor. Join us at reliving the glitz of the 1920s and rigors of Prohibition at the Criterion Theatre and Arts Center Fundraising Dinner at Cleftstone Mannor, 92 Eden Street. We will be offering a Dinner Buffet and a chance to relive the Flapper years with dancing lessons.
