This family-friendly event also includes free seminars on such issues as tax credits, and activities for all ages. Exhibits include home building and remodeling, renewable energy, hybrid and electric vehicles, green kid's area, and organic and fair-trade products. Oct 04, 2009. Brooks Historical Society will hold its annual Fall Heritage Day Open House with craftspeople at work from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pilley House, 11 Moosehead Trail. Visitors will see old-time crafts peformed in a friendly setting. Many interesting items, research materials and memorabilia are on display. Videos of interviews with local people are available. Free refreshments will be served on the porch. There is no admission fee, but free-will donations are gratefully accepted.
