Annual Quilt Conference

Jul 24 thru Jul 27, 2008. Augusta. The 31st Annual Quilt Conference at the Augusta Civic Center, sponsored by Pine Tree Quilters Guild. There will be workshops with 10 national teachers. Booth Hop, Merchants Mall, Demonstrations, Lectures, Quilt Appraisals. 650+ Quilts, antique quilts, art, judged quilts, raffle, Pines and Needles, Sew What, Pilgrim / Roy Challenge Quilts 2009, Vintage Revisited, Silent Auction of quilted items. Proceeds benefit WomenHeart of Maine for the fight against women's heart disease. Times are Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily admission $8; multi-day $15; Children 12 & under free with paid adult.
