Apr 19, 2009. The sixth annual Save Our Swinging Bridge 5K is scheduled Sunday, April 19th at 10 a.m. in Topsham's Lower Village. Advance registration is $18 through Friday, April 10 and $20 after April 10. Proceeds benefit the maintenance fund for the Swinging Bridge. The Walk Run is a challenging USAFT sanctioned 5k (3.1 mile) course, up one hill and down the other, traveling into the heart of the Topsham Heights, past our historic swinging bridge, starting and ending in the growing center of Topsham's lower village. The 5K is appropriate for families. Free 100% cotton designed T-shirts will be give on a first-come, first-served basis to registered participants. Certificates for three-deep placement will be awarded along with gift certificates for the top three overall men and women and first place in each age group for men and women.
