Dec 31, 2011. Polar Bear Dip & Dash: Run, Walk, Make a Splash! A benefit for NRCM's work to fight global warming! Join us at the East End for the Year End celebration. The fun will take place at East End Beach in Portland, Maine on Saturday, December 31st, 2011. We invite you to walk or run a 5k, plunge into the Atlantic Ocean, or both. Sign-up today here. The early-bird registration fee to participate in the 5k, the polar dip, or both is $25 before November 1st and $30 after that (registration fees are non-refundable).
