The race starts next to the Brewer Auditorium on Wilson Street in Brewer at 10:45 a.m. and continues across the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge to Bangor. Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. on race day, with the children's run starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K race at 9 a.m. at Lord's Point, 260 Beach Ave in Kennebunk. MMCC, a nonprofit Special Purpose School and Day Treatment Facility serves students throughout Southern and Central Maine on a year round basis. As with all young people, recreation is a vital part of physical and social development. Proceeds from this year's fun run will go to the purchase of recreational equipment for our grounds. The run will begin and end at Geiger Elementary School. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a start time of 9 a.m. Each $20 paid registrant will receive a tee shirt.
