The Central Maine Credit Union 'Run for Homeless Youth' benefits New Beginnings, Inc. a community based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for homeless and runaway youth. The race is 3.1 mile moderately flat run along the river and through downtown Lewiston and Auburn starting and ending at Gas Works Park. Course certification pending. Registration is from 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. and the race begins at 9:00 A.M. The entry fee is $15.00. Walkers welcome. Free knit running cap or t-shirt to the first 100 registrants. Bagels and fruit and complimentary massages provided after the race. Cash prizes for top male and female finishers overall and gift certificates for first male and female finishers in six age categories. |   Report Update

Participants can enjoy running, jogging, or walking along the beautiful residential streets of Monmouth on a course that begins and ends at historic Cumston Hall.
