Sale hours are 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Beginning at 10 a.m., the decorated beds will parade from the Village Green down Main Street to Cottage Street. The live auction has already started and closes on November 16 at 9 p.m. The live auction on November 20th at the Samoset Resort from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. will have about 65 items. After the live auction, you will be able to boogie with the Pat Pepin Band, the "Mojo Mamas." Pat Pepin is a singer and saxophonist who knows the blues from the inside out.. She has been on the music scene for 20 years. She will be joined on stage with Jan Sturtevant, and they form a blue duo called the "Mojo Mamas," which has been electrifying audiences around Maine for the past several years. Nov 28, 2009. The next Down East Ski Sale will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Portland Expo Building on Park Avenue near the ballpark. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. and the sale goes until 5:00 p.m. For many, standing in line waiting for the sale to open is a tradition, but with over over 10,000 pieces of ski equipment: boots, skis, snowboards, bindings, helmets, clothing and poles, great deals can be found all day long! The general public may bring their ski related items to enter into the sale Friday November 27th, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.. There is a $1.00 registration fee per item, and 15% commission is charged if the item is sold. Note: All unsold equipment must be picked up Sunday, 11/29 by 12 p.m. Items not picked up by then are donated or disposed of.
