Sep 10, 2011. Annual St. Lawrence Arts Benefit Yard Sale. Come support a local non-profit venue for the arts while perusing our fantastic wears. The sale will include everything from clothing, kitchen wear, small furniture pieces, books & magazines and whole lot more. Event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prior to the yard sale, St. Lawrence Arts is accepting donations of goods for the sale. Sep 23, 2011. Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and Signature Sponsor Cross Insurance present the Chamber's 10th Annual Live & Silent Auction and Sebago Lakes Signature Dishes buffet dinner. This anticipated public event promotes local business while raising funds for the Chamber's community activities and is held in 2011 at St. Joseph's College in Standish. Signature Dishes buffet begins at 5:30 p.m. and features many local restaurants and food service providers serving appetizers, chowder, salad, main dishes and desserts. The Silent Auction includes gift certificates, baskets and items from more than 100 businesses. The Live Auction will feature lively bidding on a wide range of higher value items. Entertainment throughout the evening. Tickets are $20 each and are available online, at the Chamber office, 747 Roosevelt Trail, Windham, or at the event. WGME Channel 13's Diana Ichton will return as the evening's host, and our longtime auctioneer Bob Sparda will return to have some fun with the crowd as we auction off some exciting items! $40 per person / $75 per couple.
