Merry Wifes of Windsor is a rarely seen Shakespearean comedy with several fantastic female leads and the infamous comedic character John Falstaff best known from Shakespeare's two history plays: Henry IV Part I and II. Auditions: Sunday, February 7th at 3:00 p.m. 3rd floor Camden Opera House and Monday, February 8th at 6:00 p.m. 3rd floor Camden Opera House. Please come prepared with a monologue one minute (or so) in length, preferably Shakespeare - if you don't have a monologue, there will be materials available to cold read at the auditions. Call backs Wednesday February 10th at 6:00 p.m. location TBA. First read through will be on Saturday February 13th time TBA. We have two fantastic comics scheduled to perform on April 9th at 7:30 p.m. in the Cony Auditorium. The headliner is the hilarious Paul Nardizzi. Paul has appeared in comedy clubs all across the US, had been a guest multiple time on Conan O'Brien, added comic perspective on NESN and has authored several side-splitting books. His opening act is retired Navy aviator/pilot, Mitch Stinson, who offers great family friendly comedy for all to enjoy. Some of the enchanting musical numbers include The Simple Joys of Maidenhood, The Lusty Month of May, How to Handle a Woman, I Loved You Once in Silence, If Ever I Would Leave You, and What Do the Simple Folk Do? In the end it is fourteen-year-old Tom who tells the world of Camelot's quest for right and honor and justice. As the first Broadway musical by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe after My Fair Lady, Camelot was as highly anticipated as a coronation. At the time, the advance sale was the largest in Broadway history.
