Prizes for the three largest togue are: $1000 for first place, $500 for second place and $300 for third place. In addition, $200 will be awarded to the greatest total weight of fish plus a $500 special drawing. For each fish caught between 14-18 inches there will be an entry ticket. Ten races: Boothbay Harbor (June 18); Rockland (June 19); Mosabec Reach near Jonesport (July 2); Searsport (July 9), Stonington (July 10); Friendship (July 23); Harpswell (July 24); Winter Harbor (August 13); Pemaquid (August 14) and the MS Regatta Harborfest in Portland (August 21). Jun 29, 2011. 4th annual Quest for the Nonantum Cup Canoe Race. Businesses compete for bragging rights and the right to display the Nonantum Cup. Each team supplies their own canoe. Teams launch from Nonantum Resort and make the approximate 2 mile trip up the river and back. Registration for canoe race required.
