Race dates & places are: Boothbay Harbor (June 16); Rockland (June 17); Bass Harbor (June 24); Mosabec Reach near Jonesport (June 30); Searsport (July 14), Stonington (July 15); Friendship (July 28); Harpswell (July 29); Winter Harbor (August 11); Pemaquid (August 12) and the MS Regatta Harborfest in Portland (August 19). Jun 29, 2011. 4th annual Quest for the Nonantum Cup Canoe Race. Businesses compete for bragging rights and the right to display the Nonantum Cup. Each team supplies their own canoe. Teams launch from Nonantum Resort and make the approximate 2 mile trip up the river and back. Registration for canoe race required.
