Recreational Maine Lobstering
Since 1997, all Maine residents have been permitted to harvest their own Maine lobster on a limited, non-commercial basis.  Non-commercial Maine lobster and crab harvesters can find information about licensing requirements and other rules and regulations from the Maine Department of Marine Resources.
