Gray - New Gloucester Business Association

The "Crossroad of Maine," Gray connects five state highway systems and is close to many Maine attractions.  Snuggled equidistant between the two largest cities (Portland and Lewiston), Gray is also a short drive to Sebago Lake, Freeport and the Hills of Western Maine.  There are many pristine lakes and ponds nearby, including Range Pond State Park which offers swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and water sports.  There are many golf courses, including one of New England's finest at Spring Meadows, adjacent to Cole Farms Restaurant, a Maine tradition.  Gray is also home to the only Wildlife Park in New England that cares for injured and abandoned animals, from moose to bobcats. Just a few miles up the road in New Gloucester there is Shaker Village, the only working Shaker community in the country.  Gray and her sister town New Gloucester offer a high quality of life and, being near L-A and Portland, many career opportunities.  There is also a thriving business sector in Gray itself with over 350 small and mid-sized businesses anchored in part by the newly renovated Pineland complex and the state of the art Northbrook Business Park.  The Gray-New Gloucester area has the small town feel and  charm that is typical of Maine, but also provides a variety of opportunities for its many visitors and those who live and work here.
