Eastport celebrates the ringing in of the New Year with Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop. At 11 pm Eastern/12 midnight Atlantic, a giant Maple Leaf is lowered from the third floor of the Tides Institute and Museum of Art. At midnight eastern time, an 8-foot artist made Sardine is lowered.
