Our Manchester show is a fantastic celebration of over 20 female artisans from ME & NH featuring beautiful, handcrafted pieces. gain this year we will have Maine Mystery authors Lea Wait, Maureen Milliken, Jen Blood and Maine children's book authors Hazel Mitchell, Wendy Ulmer, and Lynn Plourde for sales and signings plus live music by Michele Roy and Will West as Twisted Strings and Tom Douglas, singer and guitarist. More than 40 members of the Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Micmac and Maliseet tribes will demonstrate traditional Wabanaki art forms including basketmaking, stone carving, bark etching, beadwork and jewelry, in addition to featured performances of drumming, singing, dancing and storytelling by the Burnurwurbskek Singers, Dancers from the Penobscot Nation, and Micmac spiritual leader David Sanipass. This is the southernmost gathering of Wabanaki artists in the state of Maine. Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn about and experience first-hand Maine's Native American culture.
