Wounded Veterans Gala & Auction - U.S. Custom House

312 Fore Street
Portland, Maine 04101
Phone: (207) 468-1026

Apr 29, 2017. We are very excited to hold a special evening to honor and support Maine's wounded veterans. As they return home injured in service to our country, they struggle during this challenging transition. Due to the many failures in the systems set up to help them, many will have lengthy waits for the benefits they have rightly earned. The nature of their injuries makes it almost impossible for them to navigate these systems on their own. Often, they are unable to work, as the bills pile up, and they lose the fight to provide for themselves and their families. Wounded Heroes Program of Maine is an all-volunteer team and registered non-profit organization, established to be a safety net for them as they transition to civilian life. The 3rd annual Wounded Veterans Gala & Auction is being held to help support our Maine veterans through this program. There will be hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, silent and live auctions and military presentations. If you are unable to attend this event, but would still like to support our program, we encourage you to visit our website at the Title link above to make a donation. Event on Saturday, Apr. 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Event #19117 |   Report Update   |   Submit An Event   |   Shop Amazon
